Briefly About Kutnu: Kutnu is a kind of atlas with silk warps and cotton wefts, woven only on black looms in Gaziantep in Turkey. The story of the Kutnu fabric in Anatolia begins in the 16th century. It is known as the symbol of nobility and elegance in its journey from handlooms to palaces. Mecidiye type is a kind of atlas used in sewing the dresses of the sultan and the people of the palace in the Ottoman period. It is an extremely healthy and natural hand-woven fabric that is preferred by the people.
