It is known as the symbol of nobility and elegance in its journey from handlooms to palaces. Mecidiye type is a kind of atlas used in sewing the dresses of the sultan and the people of the palace in the Ottoman period. It is an extremely healthy and natural hand-woven fabric that is preferred by the people.
